Journalists and media professionals with an interest in reporting on issues in the developing world are invited to apply for funding under the winter 2017 round of the Simon Cumbers Media Fund.
Proposed projects should focus on international development themes, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and applicants must demonstrate the relevance of their project to one or more of the seven Irish Aid Priority Areas for Action. These priority areas include: hunger, climate change, trade and economic growth and human rights.
An information session for those interested in applying will be held at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade on Tuesday, 3rd October 2017 from 11am to 1pm. Media professionals who wish to attend should register by emailing email@example.com, putting “Dublin Information Session” in the subject line.
The deadline for the receipt of submissions to the winter 2017 round is Friday, 27th October at 5pm.
