In 2009, Susan Cahill travelled to Mozambique to document the impact hunger and malnutrition had on the lives of women in the country.
Entitled ‘Women Don’t Dream: The Challenges Facing the Women of Mozambique’, Susan met with a number of Mozambican women on how they coped with poverty and hunger.
The documentary also highlighted the long term structural problems inherent in global food production systems and the severity of the global hunger crisis on women.
‘Women Don’t Dream’ was broadcast on Saturday 4th December 2010 on Newstalk’s Different Voices. To listen to the documentary, click here.
