Road to Equality

Jackie Fox was funded to travel to Saudi Arabia to report on the liberalisation of women’s rights in the country in 2018. Following the lifting of a ban on women driving, women are now allowed to attend sports games and to set up their own businesses. Jackie reported for RTÉ News and RTÉ Radio 1, looking at reforms, other symbols of segregation and what next for Saudi Arabian women.
