Fund recipient Órla Ryan travelled to Lebanon, to explore the lives of Syrian and Palestinian refugees living in camps there. She reports on the daily difficulties encountered by refugees, mental health issues and the support services available. She also explores how Covid-19 is impacting Lebanon’s camps. Orla’s work was published in a series of articles in TheJournal.ie, which can be viewed here.
