Fund recipient Jenny Barker travelled to the Haiti, and its islands of Ile-a-Vache and Ilet a Brouee, to find out how these tiny Caribbean islands are tackling climate change. She visits the areas at the frontline of extreme weather, where every year homes are destroyed by devastating hurricanes, and reports on sustainable agriculture projects developed by the local community to tackle climate change. Jenny’s work was published by the Irish Independent; click here to read an online version. A gallery of photography from Jenny’s project can also be viewed here.
